Program Benefits

Today our services provide several options in supporting home education:

HomeLink offers once-a-week classes that provide guided independent learning for students grades 1-12.  The classes can provide the full home school academic experience or may be considered enrichment classes that extend and deepen learning occurring in your home school. Assignments to be completed at home are given on class days and are turned in the following class day. This provides structure and accountability to the homeschool. Class time is spent with hands-on experiences, explaining new concepts, discussion, and feedback on previous assignments.

For families not qualifying to homeschool under the provisions of RCW 28A.225.010(4) - 45 college credits or a Parent Qualifying Course Certificate of Completion - HomeLink is offering the services of certified teachers to oversee their homeschool for a small fee. Please contact the office for information.

HomeLink will be offering a study class Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10am – 2pm. Students can sign up for a total of 12 hours a week of supervised study for $50 a week. Additional hours can be added at $5 per hour. The class will be overseen by a HomeLink advisor who will be available to assist students who are working on their classwork. Contact the office if you would like to take advantage of the study class or have questions.

HomeLink offers achievement testing for students as well as curriculum advice and consultation services for home schooling parents.
